Indeed, if the plugs for my Pi power supplies were convenient, I would have used these. Unfortunately, while the Pis are easily accessible, their plugs aren't.I have "plug switches" that are modules that plug into the AC outlet (or large format power bar in my case) and allow the switching to happen on the AC side.... cheap and easy.I always turn off the power before fiddling with disk-like devices. I've used the CanaKit power switches on both the Pi4 and the Pi5 with no problems in terms of reliability, power delivered, or switch failure.
