Automation, sensing and robotics • Input/suggestions on a dc motor controlled with rtd temp

So I’m back looking at options and ideas on what to do here. This is a bit out of my wheelhouse but I’m no dummy and I’m sure I can figure it out or hire it out if necessary lol

I have a 30vdc motor (4a) that I want to control its speed based on feedback from at least a single rtd temperature source (preferably 2, with their readings averaged). I want a small touch screen display to be able to show me the rtd readings, motor speed and the ability to adjust the motors speed to achieve varying target temperatures.

I believe this would be possible with a RP, a couple pt100 rtd amplifiers and a 30vdc motor driver. Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

As far as programming something like this, is this something a newbie can figure out relatively easily or should I leave that up to someone that knows what they’re doing 😂
