It is a very expensive gadget. I just use around $10 Ugreen USB sound card these days. I am happy with it.I had one of those, but it made horrific noise if I rebooted the Pi.The 3.5mm jack on RPI4 is not quite of the best quality. Looking forward to the RPI5, which doesn't have the jack audio I bought this:

Goes into my HIFI amplifier.
RPI OS recognized it immediately, nothing to install.
So I upgraded it to one of these:

This just makes a slight click when the Pi is rebooted - and it sounds very much better than the JSAUX one.
