You could probably find out where QJoyPad stores its configuration, and edit the file directly instead of pressing buttons. Therefore you wouldn't be pressing the button, thus wouldn't cause the undesired action to happen.Hello,
I have installed QJoyPad 4.3 on a Raspberry Pi 4B to use a controller as a mouse, with Rasbian as the OS. The controller being used is a Logitech Dual Action controller.
QJoyPad senses the controller and can sense the movement of the joysticks and buttons. However, whenever minimized out of QJoyPad to try moving around the mapped joystick, the QJoyPad application closes when a mapped button is moved. In other instances, QJoyPad will load, and then close when launched. Any non-mapped button will do nothing when pressed.
I've also looked into JoyToKey as an alternative, but cannot find many resources on getting it to work on Rasbian.
Any form of help on how to resolve this issue and get the joystick working would be greatly appreciated.
