Just bought my first ever Raspberry Pi, a Pi Zero 2 W. I have installed Raspbian 32-bit headless OS on a micro SD card using the install software. I have set up SSH access and successfully logged in.
I want to use the pi to find and download torrents (just download, not seed/upload), so that I do not have to access torrent sites on my main PC and risk viruses/malware etc. I then want to access the downloaded file from the Pi Zero 2 W to my Mac PC using the local network. As I will not have many downloads (just a few times per week) I will use the micro SD card running the OS to store and share the downloads.
I have seen Deluge and Transmission recommended and believe I can install them via SSH and use a web browser to access the Pi safely? But I am unsure how I could use a headless Pi Zero 2 W to browse and locate torrent magnets to send to Transmission or Deluge (any preference between the 2?).
Also, I should use SAMBA to share the file via my local network to my Mac computer, right?
