I took the same cable and plugged it into my 42in TV in the lounge room and finally got it to work after doing a remiage flash on the sd card again(about 6 times in the end). ive documented the full process in another thread of mine in the beginners community thread.network install is not supported (yet) on Pi5 as far as I know!can you explain how you did the network install please?I just tried Network install on this Raspberry PI 5 . It seemed to work fine and is pretty fast to do.
i cant get desktop to work nor remote into the desktop.
can only get ssh to work so far on my new rpi5.
ive put another post up explaining my issues and what ive done so far with zero result.
As you can SSH into the Pi the monitor/display cable is the root cause of your issues most likely.
Do you use ana kind of microHDMI adapter or what cable do you use?
