I think designing a hypothetical Pi 500 tolerant of 12V power would help differentiate the product from a Raspberry Pi 5.one thought i had recently
the reason the pi5 cant accept higher voltages over usb-c, is size and waste heat from down-converting
but the pi400 form-factor has a lot of spare room in the case....
in theory, a pi500 could accept higher voltages over usb-c, and wouldnt have as much under-voltage or PSU issues
Another differentiator I'd expect is a built-in m.2 slot, since people using a keyboard computer are less likely to be doing internet of things maker projects but rather general purpose computing.
Given the speed improvements, a Pi 500 should be much more suitable for general computing tasks. As a result, maybe it would see greater adoption in school computer labs.
