I've already thought about this and this "ease" (for those who are good in this area) does not suit me. Thank you for your participation...Basically no-one is going to care. A 7" display showing video and images that are processed with a CRT emulation filter will look great, and will convey the style you are trying to achieve.
Besides, people who remember what CRTs actually looked like are dying off, so they won't criticise your design decisions.

And yes, statue collectors care, because they are people very focused on details...
