General discussion • Play sound according to time in an excel file

Hi everyone and thank you in advance.
I am new to the pi ecosystem and i have an idea but not sure how to make it happen.
- i want to run an android/IOS app on raspberry pi (not sure which type, advice is appropriate),
Not sure how to run the app or if even it is possible

Option 2- play a sound file according to times from an excel file or other formats.
A few times per day.

NOTE
- it will be running 24 hours
- a speaker or two will be connected
- The app will do the job automatically
