Yep, connecting devices are logging, but the ones that are failing don't seem to log anything.Here's the output, grepping for "wlan" When I saw your latest posting, I'd just spotted that we were grepping the ship wifi adaptor instad of the hotspot one.
Tabby is an Android tablet, martin_laptop is Win 10, steamdeck is a Steam games console. These all reliably connect successfully. No mention of any other devices trying to connect.
I did see a few posts around the internet from people having issues connecting to Pi hotspots with android devices, but no definitive solutions. This appears to be an issue between android wifi and wpa_supplicant (NM uses it via dbus). No android devices here to do any further testing, although I did set up a hotspot and my iphone successfully connects to it.
