As a minimum the remote Pi will have to connect to the internet.
Your cousin could tell you his Wi-Fi login and you could put that configuration on before you send it
The easiest way to do this is to use a remote access service like https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... pi-connect
This takes care of connecting through routers and firewalls and doesn't require a static public IP address
If you want to use SSH your cousin will have to configure all that and get a public IP to give to you.
Team Viewer is also a good option if you run X11, but it doesn't seem to be compatible with Wayland.
You can switch back to X11 in raspi-config but raspberry-pi-connect should be the best option
