Say who? not ofcom, you only need it for the 5.8GHz range, below or above you don't need a license.Just a thought, I don't know about Switzerland but in the UK outdoor use of 5GHz WiFi is not permitted. Whether that extends to outdoor clients of indoor WiFi hubs, IDK.- I have always used the 5GHz WiFi band, but note that here (in Switzerland) only channels 36, 40, 44 and 48 are available in this band, hence likelihood of congestion/interference especially outdoors.
