So you followed the instructions for "Rotate screen without a desktop", but what are you running if you have a mouse pointer about?
Editing the video= line inverts the primary plane, but not the cursor one, hence the cursor will be inverted. Using Screen Configuration in the desktop will invert both (and the touch input to match assuming that it is associated with the display).
