Hello Everyone,
I am new to the world of Raspberry Pi 5 and I am having a lot of trouble to boot directly from the NVME instead of the SD Card.
What hardware I have:
Raspberry Pi 5/8GB
Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT for Pi 5
Official Raspberry Pi microSD Card, A2, V30, 64GB - BLANK
Micron 2200s NVME 512gb SSD M.2 2280 Gen 3 x4
What I have done in many, many different ways with zero success was:
sudo rpi-eeprom-config --edit (Does not save the changes at all)
apt policy rpi-eeprom (Latest version)
apt update && apt upgrade (Latest RPI OS 64bit)
rpi-eeprom-update (Latest version)
apt install flashrom (No changes)
Tried OS Ubuntu Meta
Tried OS Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS
raspi-config (Advance - bootloader)
I have checked so many websites that it got me exhausted and tired. Here are some web sites that I have followed but failed
Problems setting up the RPi5 with NVME SSD - Troubleshooting - DietPi Community Forum
Pi5 NVMe PIP — SunFounder Pironman documentation
config.txt - Raspberry Pi Documentation
I am trying to find help by trying to understand what I am doing wrong. Could it be my M.2 NVME SSD the problem?
Thank you all very much for your time and support on this.
Cheers,
Elsa Ballerina
