Hi, So i want to wire an old phone to my rpi, i want so if picked up it does a dial tone (play mp3) then they dial 1194 which is the old Australian talking clock number. then it reads out the current time and date.
Im trying to work out how to wire it all up if anyone can assist please.

I have 4 parts to it,

1. Rotary dialer.,
I have pulled it apart and seen only 2 wires come off the pulse part which basically just makes the circuit.
The pulse is around 10 a second. How would i wire this up?

2,The ringer.
The ringer is 36v so i have an external power supply and an arduino 5v relay board, I want so i can program the ringer 2 sec on, 1 off, 2 on and so on. How would i wire this up.

3. The handset .
This is a simple on off switch to make a circuit. So it will detect when handset is picked up to stop the ringing and also play dialtone. How would i wire this.

4. The Earpiece.
I want to use the existing earspeaker too whick i was just going to put a jackplug on it and plug into the earphone socket on the rpi.

Any help is appreciated. And if anyone would like to donate some time to help program this too i would greatly smile :)

Thanks all.
