Beginners • Thermal padding size for active cooler?

Hello, as a beginner, I threw out the thermal padding as i didn't know what the 3 tiny squares were for.?
I need to order some Thermal Padding to stick onto the base of the Active Cooler.
The sizes I'm seeing are 0.5 and 1 mm, what would the correct thickness be please?
