It is in the python section and has to do with versions, I usually avoid the whole python domain due to that and use C or shell-scriptd, but maybe you can do some tricks/hacks with symlinks. I did something like that a few weeks ago and got some slightly older SW working. But that SW is now updated and works with the lastest libcamera from '6th of setptember'.
So might be you go back to working state, so before you did updates of the OS. If you don't have timestamped- or snapshots/ backups, you probably have to update/fix things related to that meson error.
