Hi
pi4
with 2 sata / usb drives
they are md raid1 with lvm on them
I recently reinstalled this with pios from centos. update firmware and such
boot from sd.
what I find it sometimes when i reboot, it comes back - i can ping it but ssh doesn't start.
Now its located hidden away - so no access to add video or keyboard![Sad :(]()
when i take it out and place it on my desk, I can reboot to my hearts content doesn't get stuck.
If i power it off and restart usually comes back - but this is a pain.
where can I look to see what logs to see what might be happening
I was going to write a script to check nc <ip> 22 and if its not available to reboot the box
I'm used to the old syslog /var/log/messages when i see the message from previous boot - how can I turn that on or how can I get to that information
I have also just move /home/me and /var to lvs figure its better there and more space
I don't want to house in on my desk so this is annoying
