Unless talking about the AES hardware encryption instructions, I don't see a 130x speed increase on processor-bound tasks.“I think it's reasonable to think of the processor in the Pi 5 as 58 times faster than the original Pi.” well, it’s not completely unreasonable but for the benchmark stuff I care about - and obviously that’s the only thing that matters - it’s more like 130X.
But sure, if you are mostly concerned with database performance then it may be a much lower figure because of high dependence on the i/o
Does swap play a role in that comparison?
