I am making a project where I want to have an app which communicates wirelessly with a RaspberryPi. The RasPi can not have any Internet connection and the computer where the app is running on should be able to connect to any Internet of choice so a WIFi is not the solution too. The only other way I can think of is bluetooth. I built a simple app via MIT AppInventor which scans for bluetooth-devices and can connect to them. Then I tried to make the RasPi visible but it was not displayed on the list of devices. Is there anything you should know before making it visible? I need the RasPi to be as easy to connact as a bluetooth headphone or something similar. When the connection works I will use the python libary bleak for the code on the RasPi so I can wirelessly transmit data bewtween those two devices.
I would love to know what I did wrong.
