Sometimes when I am trying to save time and I have already done some of the work in another document and I want to copy and edit the work for someone else, I have always done it this way,
go to document 1 copy
go to document 2 paste
go to document 1 copy
go to document 2 paste
go to document 1 copy
go to document 2 paste
go to document 1 copy
go to document 2 paste
While looking to fix something else in my windows laptop, I came across how to do multiple copy and then multiple paste, I have heard this multiple copy and multiple paste was used in some other operating system long ago,.
Now the above can be changed to and do it faster,
go to document 1 copy, copy, copy, copy, copy, copy,
go to document 2 paste, paste, paste, paste, paste, paste,
You have to make sure the 'clipboard history' button is on (mine was off when I first saw it) #3 in the picture.
To get there go 'start' normally bottom left of screen, 'setting', 'clipboard' #2
Now you can go to your document 1 and do multiple copy,
then go to your document 2 put the cursor where you want your work pasted.
To get the clipboard history press windows 'logo' key + v at the same time.
As you click onto each paste that will automatically be pasted into your work.
Can you bring up multiple clipboard history with Linux, I hope I posted this in the right place, since I talked about some other system.
