I have a Pi 5 with the stock software, and i want to connect a AS5600 magnetic encoder to it via I2C. however, once connected it doesn 't show up when i run i2cdetect -y 1. i thought the chip was the problem so i tried all the other four AS5600 chips i had, none of them worked.
Then i also tried other i2c devices, but none of them showed up anything.
I am sure i connected every correctly and that I2C is enabled in the raspi-config. So what is the problem then?
I sadly dont have an oscilloscope to check the signal.
Please help!
