No, the only low-level language I know is rust, and I prefer not using it on pico as it not supported.

The other common way of using an RPi Pico microcontroller is to program it in C using the RPI-supplied SDK.
Or I understand you can use some sort of C subset or variant with an Arduino IDE and program the board as though it were an Arduino.
Are you familiar with that, and able to implement your solution on the Pico that way?
