Plus $10 if you want a case or cooler, another $10 for a PSU, plus more if you want analogue audio out or a headphone socket, and more still if you want an SSD or HDD and some way to connect it.That price is only $5 more than before for its respective level in the range.
I couldn't say the OP is wrong. I would likely also choose the HP over a Pi 5 but I am biased because I hate the way connectors come out of right-angled sides of the Pi and the HP case is so much nicer IMO.
