That looks like a line out solution not an audio amp... My happy place is all in one capable of playing "loud" music (subjective, but to me this means 60/70 rock in a large office at a level that apparently annoys my wife, and watching movies at an enthusiastic sound level) via good bookshelf speakers without needing a separate audio amp. 35W/channel achieves this quite nicely. Plan B is just adding a dac to get good line out and stashing an amp somewhere. A new DigiAMP++ capable of supplying 3-4A would likely do the trick very nicely. Given that the BASE solutions don't create any GPIO conflicts, since they only connect via the PCIe connector, I just need a higher pass through power solution to get the single power adaptor solution working.Pineberry were working on a M.2 NVMe + audio HAT.Just need to find a way to combine NVME and Audio HAT to get my single package dream back on track.
I am not willing to give up the speed upgrade of the NVME to get back the AMP functionality.
