Well thank you so much for your patience there, in the end I had a loose wire.
I have some kind of image appearing now, seems like something is out of sync because the image is scrambled but this is a major step for me![:)]( "Smile")
I appreciate your support through this, and thanks for exposing me to the world of device tree overlays i'm going to practice writing them as I have a few other peripherals I need to use.
