btw I've purchased a 4 ports usb3.0 unpowered hub and a few SATA extension cable. Now I'm going to purchase these SATA to USB3.1 adaptors.

Please let me know if you have any opinion over them. I heard that usb3.0 version have problems according to this
https://jamesachambers.com/fixing-stora ... nt-page-3/

Also, I plan to try ferrite clamp method 2 days later. Going to buy 5 of them for fun :)

Annnnd I'm planning to create a hand made SATA power cable out of a 12V 4A power adaptor. But not I got a issue.
Consider future upgradability, I assume each disks take 12V@0.63A and 5V@0.52A(oops it's inverted). But I have to power 5 disks (4 actually, 1 is for emergency). I know my adaptor is guaranteed to give 48W. So I have to make sacrifice. Now I'm forced to make plan for 4 3.5' disks. after calculation, I'll have to pick a module that turn 12V to 5V and current limit up to 3A (2.8A actually) for stability, which is sad that I have to make another adaptor when I have to connect 5th disk. (yeah that's the "issue")
You might want to have a look at viewtopic.php?t=297562 . This was a while ago, but OP over there had trouble with the exact adapter you're planning to buy. I mentioned over there the adapter that I was using (and am STILL using) with no problems, with Kingston A400 SSDs.
