I installed Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS using RPi imager from Raspberry OS onto an NVME drive. It booted first time. Unlike 23.10 it gave a warning about insufficient power during boot up, but otherwise everything seemed fine. I then upgraded the PCIE to Gen3 speeds in confix.txt. This booted fine, but mysteriously it could not get a network connection either via Ethernet or WiFi. Once I downgraded to Gen2 speeds the network connectivity was fine. Will report back with any further experiences, otherwise with those caveats it is fine.
