Hello,
I am running into an issue that I have spent a week just searching through google for a solution. I have two raspberry pi 5's running on bookworm that can't seem to ping each others ip addresses. Essentially while ssh'ed into one pi I cannot ping the other pi's ip address and vice versa. I am though, able to ping everything else, the outside internet, and even my iMac. My iMac is able to ping both pi devices. This has become an issue for me as I am trying to setup k3s and if the pi's can't ping each other then I won't be able to setup the k3s cluster.
Some help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Almost certainly some factor external to the RPi boards.
How are the RPi[5] systems connected to your local network? Via wireless, or via cabled Ethernet?
Similarly the iMac.
What are the IP addresses you believe to be allocated to the devices?
What is the nature of the shared local network that shares the Internet connection with the 3 user devices? Maybe your network imposes Client Isolation?
